We pull anchor at four-thirty A.M. and head out to fishing, I make coffee & breakfat as we go ; we have oatmeal at least a couple of times a week, with chopped dried fruit, nuts, honey or brown sugar, and milk.  I make a more solid breakfast three-quarters of the time, weather permitting; we need fuel for a long day. When the sun goes down, we stop fishing, unless they're running at night. 'Course it doesn't get dark in June or July, so we just stay up, and the fish keep running.  "Sleep in September," I say to the new guys when they complain about lack of sleep. I feel that I have earned a good long vacation, after a whole summer on a thirty-eight-foot Delta seine boat.
